545 Velo is a multiple-category bicycle racing team based in Newton, MA. Membership
545 Velo currently consists of over 40 strong and dedicated cyclists.

Based in Newton, MA, 545 Velo is a road-bicycle racing team committed to promoting our passion for all aspects of cycling. With a main focus on racing and training as a team we also work to promote bicycle safety, racing and awareness, and general fitness within the local community. Through volunteerism at races and participation in charity events, 545 Velo is devoted to promoting goodwill betwee

n cyclists and the community at large. We will race hard, clean, and smart as ambassadors of the sport, and our actions both on and off the bike will reflect this commitment. We are a tight team that came together with these goals, and hold on to them with pride. Many of our members have significant racing experience, and boast extensive race resumes. We race and train as a team.

🎉 545Velo BOSSCROSS 2025 — What. A. Day.

Dust in the air, unhinged announcing, gritted teeth everywhere — and smiles to match. The event was everything we love about cyclocross: fast, friendly, occasionally chaotic (we still love you, Cat4/5), and full of heart.

The new course features were a big hit (even if a few barriers wanted riders to take that literally). We saw some clean bunny hops, heroic remounts, a few unplanned tumbles, and plenty of determination. It was a beautifully dusty day (sad but we still gotta ride!) to remember.

A massive thank-you to everyone who made it happen:
