When we are faced with difficult times, family is so important. Coach Borden's wife Meredith lost her mother suddenly this past weekend. Janice DeAngelis was so suportive of Coach Borden and Mount Ida football. Wanted to share a gofund me page that was set up to help assist them during this most difficult time.

Good morning Mount Ida football parents-

The athletic awards night has been changed to Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 7pm at the Athletic Center. All student-athletes, families, and alumni are invited to celebrate Mustang City!!!

It has been a difficult week for all of us after hearing the news that Mount Ida College is closing after graduation. This has affected everyone of us in some way, shape, or form. I know the coaches are doing everything within their power to help your boys find new schools and football programs as well as finish their last semester at Mount Ida.

The parents group was formed to unite our families on the sidelines and support the program. It has grown into an incredible group of parents that are truly family. We will always be family. They can take away the infer structure, the college, the athletic programs but they can't take away our bond and our love. We will forever be Mount Ida football.

In the coming months, we look to secure a location for a fall event to celebrate Mount Ida football, the coaches, alumni, families, as well as current players. It is the hope to do this every year.
