After much anticipation- the new car hit the track last Sunday at Official Page of Oxford Plains Speedway.

The team battled new car gremlins all day but the car had great speed.

A special thank you to Shawn Knight for lending us his car last week so we could make opening day while putting the finishing touches on the new car. Most didn’t know! But we were out there just in a different color and number than normal.

Despite multiple problems throughout the day Jordan landed a 2nd place finish at the end of the feature event.

Thanks to Zach at White Designs for making this new car look sharp 🇺🇸 and TJ Brackett for building this beautiful new car.

Race season is in full swing, let’s hope we have more races than rainouts this year!

We are focusing on our Limited program this year and plan to run select races in Ole Faithful (street stock). We know you’ve been wondering where we are but stay tuned for special appearances in the street stock 😎

We made it back the Maine safely on Monday morning! A big thank you again to Thomas Richards for lending us his trailer and Dustin Salley for making the 5 hour journey to Connecticut to rescue us in a random abandoned parking lot while ALSO! Limping the broken trailer back home all in the same night.

Practice day was all about the driver getting comfortable and learning the track. Jordan stated this was one of the hardest tracks he has ever driven and was having a hard time finding a rhythm.

Race day was hot! The sun was shining and Taylor pulled chip 1 for qualifying.

Jordan started P3 on the grid for the feature. He spent multiple laps battling alongside Kyle Treadwell and Nate Barth. With about 20 laps to go he slapped the backstretch wall going in to turn 3 and had to back it down in hopes the tire didn’t go flat. He finished the day in a respectable 3rd place 🥉 The field was full of stout competition!

We had a lot of fun and are grateful for the memories and the experience!

HAPPY RACE DAY 🏁

It’s race day at Hickory Motor Speedway
Racing starts at 2:30pm EST 🟩
For our Maine friends not in attendance- the race is being streamed on North East Short Track Network.

We spent all day yesterday getting a feel for the track and gaining some confidence.

The sun is shining, the temperature is rising, and we are ready to roll.

We have been a bit delayed in our trek to NC.

A “short” stop in Connecticut after a hub broke off our trailer at midnight last night on the highway.

We have been hanging out in an empty parking lot waiting for our friends Thomas and Dustin to save the day after running around like chickens to businesses all morning with no luck to fix the trailer.

Grateful to have such good friends!
