G2 Heat Fastpitch Academy Ages (8-18) G2 Heat Softball is a competitive travel team under the G2 Athletics Organization. You do not have to want to play in college to be on our top teams.

Competitive girls fastpitch academy based in Newton, KS with teams based in Salina, KS.

2025 marks 17 years we have been coaching the fundamentals of softball and putting athletes into college on scholarships. G2 Heat Softball was created to offer an alternative for girls softball players a chance to compete with a program whose goals are to teach the fundamentals of the game. To encourage, coac

h, and mentor players to not only become great softball players, but leaders in the community. Our goal is to help those players who are serious about softball obtain college scholarships to compete at the college and level and obtain their degree. Just have the drive to be the best you can be and be dedicated to the team. We offer training in our indoor facility, softball fields, and in the weight room. Private lessons are available upon request.

Congratulations to Heat 12U Hensiek on placing 2nd in Salina this past weekend!! The coaches and players did a great job and battled through 6 games on Sun and just came up short having to beat the Champions 2x to win it all. The got the 1st win.

With High School over and summer has started we wanted to post and recognize all of our "STUDENT ATHLETES".

Our organizational GPA this year was 3.79. That's with 7 of our teams with athletes that are in Honors classes and College Courses!!! With our owners being College Coaches, they know the importance of having high academic standards along with high athletics standards. They try to run the organization as a college program so the players are ready when they transition into college.

We are very proud of how hard they work on and off the field. Below is our Mission Statement that shows how seriously we take academics.

Heat Softball is committed to molding great young women and great athletes into champions, on the field, in the community, and in the classrooms. We know that when our athletes take care of business in the classroom, they can take care of business on the field. The discipline they learn from their softball experiences will extend into their daily lives and the success they achieve from their hard work, dedication, and perseverance through adversity will teach life lessons that will extend far beyond the diamond.

It is our hope that a large number of these young women will pursue college softball while preparing them with the education they need to sustain a self-dependent future.

If you are free, I would recommend attending this if you see some schools you are interested in. It's during the week so you won't miss a tournament. Question please let me know.
