Coach Parzero, Coach Fitz, and Coach Fantasia, along with 29 members of the 2026 Newton high school varsity football team, attended a three-day wing T camp at Lanape Valley High School. It was an incredible experience. Coach Smolyn and Coach Sadloch led the camp, with the assistance of Coach Parzero, Coach Fitz, and Coach Fantasia.

Today, players from the Newton High Football Team Ethan Collier, Jamason Trout and Evan Cotter participating in the New Jersey Torch Run for Special Olympics. They were joined by officers from the Newton Police Department. Andover Police Department, Sussex County Sherriff's Office, and Sussex County Prosecutors Office. The Torch Run is an annual event that helps raise awareness and support for Special Olympics athletes throughout the state.
