Traveled over to Lonesome Pine Raceway again this past weekend for the second Late Model race of the season.

We tested most of the evening on Friday and ran some of our fastest laps yet. Unloaded on Saturday morning and had a completely different car. Went to work all day Saturday and ended up qualifying 5th. Made another large swing heading into the race and finally hit on something.

Right off the start, we fell back a few spots while saving tires, then worked our way up to 3rd after a mid-race caution. Eventually settled into 4th for most of the race. With around five laps to go, another car made a move to the inside and climbed over our left front and across our hood. Luckily I was able to limp to the end for another 5th place finish. Frustrating end to the day, but a very positive weekend. We are continuing to improve and gain speed every weekend.

I’m truly grateful for the awesome partners who have come on board this season. This wouldn’t be possible without their support. We’ll get everything fixed and be back stronger for the next race on July 4th.

First race of the 2026 season is in the books. We traveled over to Lonesome Pine Raceway for the 75 lap Late Model race yesterday. Rolled out of the trailer with decent speed but still lacked turn in the center. We never quit working and made gains all day.

We ended up qualifying 6th with the fastest lap we have ever ran at the pine. Roughly 4 laps into the race we developed a really bad vibration in the rear end. Decided to fall back and ride hoping the car would make it til the end. After some other cars misfortune and a late race caution, we ended the night with a 5th place finish. Not exactly the result we were hoping for, but with the cards we were dealt it was a pretty great day.

I can’t say thank you enough to all the people who support me each and every week, and to the good Lord above for His guidance and protection every time we hit the track. It was pretty awesome having all the support from so many people.
