Ready to improve your Floor Lunge technique? Here are a few quick hacks to up your game.
Step 1: Stand next to the front of the machine and face forward. Place the leg closest to the machine on the carriage.
Step 2: Use the front of the standing leg to push the carriage all the way out. Be sure to keep your front knee above your ankle.
Step 3: Use the back of the standing leg to pull the carriage all the way in. Don’t lock your knee when you stand.
Step 4: Repeat steps one through three for two minutes, then change sides.
For an added challenge, don’t let your knee touch the carriage when you extend your leg. Try to keep the secondary leg as straight as possible. The Floor Lunge is a great exercise for working all of the muscles in the leg.
