OEC Training Centers is an independent business that was established to provide training for the Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC) credential. The training focuses on the needs of the care-giver in the non-urban environment, including river raft guides, mountain guides, search and rescue groups, and parks and recreation employees. The course also is taken by other outdoor enthusiasts, who recognize tha

t first aid knowledge can save a life in the wilderness. The OEC course is the award winning training program developed by the National Ski Patrol (NSP) in the mid-1980’s and is recognized in all 50 states as the standard of training for emergency care in the outdoors.
