The 2023 season is in the books!

We are thrilled to announce that Divided Sky Racing has been named co-winner of the 2023 Narragansett Bay Boat of the Year along with Dawson Hodgson's J100, Grimace! Kristy and I could not be happier for our team, and we are grateful for the commitment everyone has to making the boat competitive and fun. Most of the group has been together for the better part of two decades, and we are blessed to have such a great group of friends and competitors to share the Bay with.

We want to offer a huge congratulations to Dawson, Ben, and the Grimace team. They are outstanding Corinthian competitors and are a podium threat whenever they take the field. TDS looks forward to years of lining up against the J100 and is proud to be named BOTY alongside them!

Special thanks to Doyle Sails Newport for their continuing commitment to the sail development on our Summit 35...they are a great team who has been working with us since our J29 days, and we are happy to keep the strong performance record going!

2024 is just around the corner! Divided Sky is resting comfortably at her winter home and will be ready to reload come springtime!

The 2023 EGYC Annual Regatta weekend was one for the books! We are truly blessed with an amazing team that has been together for the better part of two decades. Divided Sky took the win in Class A spinnaker, and were able to win the Udo Schroff Memorial Trophy. We have been chasing this one for a while!!

Huge props to Todd Johnston and the Goat Rodeo crew team...this regatta turned into a three hour match race where the two boats were not separated by any more than a boat length. Never been pushed like that before....an amazing day.

Narragansett Bay delivered again last night…

We had some amazing crew work, highlighted by Vincent in the tactics role. It is amazing to see how far this 14 year-old has come as a sailor and a young man. Kristy and I are beyond thankful for this team that has been with us for the better part of two decades (!!). Back at it Saturday with the IYAC Newport Cup / Rhody Cup.

EGYC Summer Series race #3 was a light and very shifty affair. V4 taking the helm duties tonight with a last minute guest tactician appearance from Mark Gervais! Very nice result on a short W3 course which kept everyone on their toes. The summer solstice delivered and we carried the chute past the finish back to (almost) the gas dock. 😎

What can we say about this weekend….unsettled but consistent!

The 169th NYYC Annual Regatta turned out to be a hard fought podium for the team. After Saturday’s race was scratched from the record (2nd), the team worked HARD to put a couple of low numbers on the board to finish 2nd for the weekend behind Jeff Johnstone’s J99, Upbeat. After the many hours of racing, the difference turned out to be 16 seconds to the 1st place boat…a bitter pill, to be sure, but grateful to have the opportunity to sail with this amazing team that included 3 current GBSA sailors/instructors. SPECIAL SHOUT OUT TO JUNIOR ~ V4 drove an excellent Around the Island Race on Friday to get himself some silverware. The kids are alright!!!
