Elite Barber Studio’s 3rd Annual Back-to-School Haircut Event ✂️

On Saturday, August 1st, from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM, we will be providing free haircuts for students in grades K-12 as we prepare for the new school year.

This event was created to help children and families in our community who may be facing financial hardships and need a little extra support. Our goal is to make sure as many kids as possible can start the school year feeling confident and looking their best.

Haircuts will be available for both boys and girls and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. We ask for everyone’s patience as we work to serve as many children as possible throughout the day.

We will also be putting together school supply bags to give away during the event. If you would like to support this effort by donating school supplies, we would greatly appreciate your help.

While all are welcome, we kindly ask that those who are financially able to provide haircuts for their children consider allowing this opportunity to be available for families who may not otherwise have access to one. Together, we can make a positive impact and support the children in our community who need it most.

Hi everyone,
I am Taelyr Ball, your 2026 Jefferson County Fairest of the Fair.

I am eighteen years old and from Newport, Tennessee. I spend the majority of my time in Jefferson County while attending Carson Newman University and I am a member of the Carson Newman Dance team.

I can't wait to represent Jefferson County with kindness, integrity, and a servant's heart while celebrating everything that makes our fair and community so special. I look forward to meeting so many amazing people, supporting our youth, and making memories that will last a lifetime
