Tryouts for the NewCath Girls Freshman Basketball Team will be held on October 17th and 18th.

Tryouts are open to any 7th or 8th grade girl currently enrolled at Holy Trinity, St. Joseph (Cold Spring), St. Therese, or St. Thomas.

Tomorrow, ALL NewCath student-athletes will join together for Text to Fund the Thoroughbreds, a one-night texting blitz!

Between 6-7 PM, our Thoroughbreds will text our community asking for donations to support ALL athletic programming.
Our reach goal is - $55,000!

Funds raised up to $35,000 will be used to purchase athletic training and strength and conditioning equipment in the weight and training room. Monies raised over $35,000 will go directly back to the teams.

NewCath Girls Basketball is excited to announce the addition of Coach Thomas Hargis ("Coach T") to the staff as Head of Player Development & Freshman Head Coach.

Coach Hargis brings more than 20 years of coaching and player development experience across the AAU, middle school, high school, and collegiate levels. His coaching journey includes roles with Next Level Academy, Shining Light Academy (NC), Crescent City High School (LA), the University of New Orleans, and multiple elite AAU basketball programs.

Coach T brings a passion for developing complete student-athletes with emphasis on skill development, basketball IQ, defensive intensity, and a culture of daily improvement. His commitment is to help every player reach her full potential while contributing to a championship culture throughout the NewCath Girls Basketball program.

Dear St. Joseph, Patron of Fathers, just as you watched over Jesus, guide and protect all Fathers so that they in turn can guide and protect their families.
