It has been a long time ladies and I am sorry. First, please invite anyone that is not already on this page. Second, as soon as we can, I want all the Greyhound moms to get together. We can meet and have dinner, etc.

I cannot believe another year is starting. I apologize for not posting sooner. This one may be long.
1.FAS Hounds is happening now. They guys will go to a team camp on Thursday at Beebe.
2. I will let you know about the date for Media Day.
3. If you want reserved seating, contact Lisa Haigwood at the school. They are $ 6 per seat for each home game. $ 4 for Senior Citizens.
4. If your son hasn't taken the ACT, make it a priority soon. The juniors will all take the test at the high school in the Spring for free, but you might want to have them take it more than once.
5. Now is the time to join the booster club. The cost for a family is $ 25. You receive a car decal, a poster schedule and a pocket schedule.
6. Last year the team ate breakfast together on Friday mornings at the Newport Diner. I am sad to say that it has closed. I will actively try to find a restaurant to accommodate them if they want to do that again this year. I will not promise that it will be paid for. That was not done by the Booster Club. They feed the boys after school.
7. If we take a mom photo this season, I want to make a suggestion that we wear solid white or black.
8. As a Junior athlete that MAY want to continue playing sports in college, it is recommended to register in the NCAA clearinghouse. I will get you more information. Basically what that does is help recruiters see ACT scores and high school transcripts, etc. A player can still be recruited, but they will wonder why they are not in the clearinghouse. What a great weekend for the Hounds! The boys were fed on Friday morning at Newport Diner and loved it. Let’s try to frequent there and keep their business rolling!!!!

The game last night did not turn out the way we all wanted, but our Hounds are something special!
Praying that Tyler Johnson is better this morning after a terrible injury last night. I am going to get an update asap on him and post. Tharon Davis is doing fine, no concussion, but will need to get checked out by his P*P.

The Greyhounds are in need of 20 ounce Gatorades for the upcoming games. If you would like to drop them by my house, I will send them to school with coach!!!!! It would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!
