Nothing beats Newport in the summer - but as a result, traffic and parking can be difficult. Please be sure to allow enough time to make it to Fort Adams, park, and prepare for the race!

We advise arriving at Fort Adams close to 10:00 AM. On-site parking is available at Fort Adams, and there is also a regularly scheduled water taxi shuttling from downtown Newport to Fort Adams. Bicycling to the fort is also a popular and highly encouraged option — bike racks are available around the Fort.

Join the movement and enjoy the ride while helping reduce traffic congestion! Read on for routes, maps, Park & Bike locations, and more.
