Today we hosted our very first Jefferson Wrestling Golf Outing, and we are blown away by the support. With 90 attendees and 20 teams, this first year was truly one for the books! ⛳️🏌️

Thank you to everyone who attended, sponsored, donated, and supported our team. A special thank you to our 30 sponsors whose generosity helped make this event possible.

Because of your support, we can begin making improvements to our wrestling room, mats, apparel, and opportunities for our athletes.

We had such a fun time that we already booked the same weekend for next year! Thank you for supporting the Jefferson Wrestling team. 💙🤼

Such a bittersweet day. 💙🐻🎓

Today, our seniors graduate, and while we are incredibly proud of the young men and women they have become, it also brings many emotions as this chapter comes to a close.

One thing we always say is that the wrestling room door never closes. They will always be welcome back to help in the room, continue being role models, support our team at Bear Attack tournaments, and remain part of our wrestling family.

As they walk across the stage tonight, we’ll be cheering them on every step of the way. We hope they know just how proud we are to be their coaches. Some of these seniors have been part of this program since their Bear Attack days, and it’s hard to believe how quickly the years have gone by.

We are so proud of you! 💙🐻

🐻💙💛 BIG THINGS AHEAD FOR BEAR COUNTRY 💙💛🐻

Congratulations to Jefferson senior Morgan Simota on her commitment to Rochester Christian University to continue both her academic and wrestling career! 🤼‍♀️🎓

Morgan has been a part of Jefferson Wrestling since 6th grade and has always shown dedication, hard work, determination, and a constant drive to improve as an athlete. Her commitment to the sport has led to an incredible career that included 3 appearances at the MHSAA Girls State Finals. This past season, Morgan earned All-State honors by placing 4th in the state — becoming the first girl in Jefferson history to place at the state finals. 🏆

We are incredibly proud of Morgan and everything she has accomplished in Bear Country. Rochester Christian University is gaining an outstanding athlete, leader, and competitor. Once a Bear, always a Bear! 💪🐻

This golf outing helps us give back to a program that has given so much. We’re working to update our wrestling room with new equipment, a TV for match review, an updated Hall of Fame, mats, and more so our athletes have a space they’re proud to call home. 🐻

Coach Nadeau had the privilege of walking senior Morgan Simota across the soccer field for Staff Appreciation Night a few weeks ago. ⚽️🌟

Morgan jokingly told Coach that everyone else was busy, but by the end of the night they both agreed the relationship they’ve built over the years has been filled with sarcasm, tough love, and many unforgettable moments. Morgan has been around since the early days, even before varsity wrestling, and Coach has made a lasting impact on her life throughout many years.

If you know Coach Nadeau, you know he believes in tough love because he believes deeply in the potential of his wrestlers, and Morgan is no exception.

We are so excited for Morgan’s next chapter and grateful for the memories created throughout the program.

Jefferson Wrestling is more than just a team. We are a family, and the support shown through tournaments, practices, and fundraisers impacts these athletes far beyond the mats and for many years to come. 💙🐻
