At Tuesday night's meeting, the City of Newport proudly presented the 2025-2026 Cocke County Lady Red Basketball Team with a proclamation recognizing their outstanding achievement of advancing to the Final Four in the state tournament.
This special recognition is a testament to the hard work, dedication, perseverance, and heart these young ladies displayed throughout an unforgettable season. We are grateful to the City of Newport for celebrating their accomplishments and for supporting our student-athletes.
Congratulations again to our players and coaches for representing our school and community with pride. The future is bright for Lady Red Basketball! ❤️🏀
