Today is bittersweet while the course is going up for auction ending 17 seasons, I wish nothing but the best to the club in the future. From the bottom of my heart I wish to thank each and every golfer, weather a member or walk on for your kind and loyal support over the past 17 seasons. The community of Newport deserves this facility which has served for 100 years and hopefully will continue to be a valuable resource for the next hundred years. Good luck to all in the future until we meet again, “Hit them Long and Straight”

We have not had any luck in finding a new owner of the golf club so we are setting up a Go Fund Me page to try and raise the funds required to satisfy the bank and SBA. If successful the course will then be donated back to the membership base without any bank debt. It was a long hard winter which extended right into late April, while we have managed to fully open there is still a lot of work to restore the course fully from the damage sustained during the very unusual winter flood. We wish to thank all of our patrons who have donated both time and money to our cleanup fund we are nearly half way to our goal of $10,000 to assist us with the extra expenses incurred with both course clean up as well as irrigation problems created. It is not too late to donate and receive a $130 value 2 -18 hole greens fees w/cart no restrictions for a $100.00 donation. We ask for your patience and understanding as we are restoring the course completely as fast as we can.
