Members of our Dirt Devils 10U represented at the DC Fastpitch Elite All-Stars in SC this weekend and battled intense heat and intense competition. The girls played separately alongside all-stars from around the region in this two-day event. The Gold Bracket Championship game featured two Dirt Devils going head-to-head and a member of the Dirt Devils was represented on both the Gold and Silver Bracket Champion teams! Way to go ladies ✨️🏆🏆✨️

The '25-'26 season came to a close for our Dirt Devils 10U yesterday and they ended it in amazing fashion going 4-0 on the day to win the DC Fastpitch Christmas in July tournament in Radford. Defensively the girls made clutch plays when needed and offensively found a way to scratch out runs, being aggressive on the basepaths in key moments. Harper Lindsey came up big in the semifinals with a game-tying RBI double to left in extra innings. Lindsey then stole two bases and scored the game winning run to achieve the championship game berth. Lena Gardner pitched a 2-hit shutout with 14 Ks in the 3-0 championship victory. On the day Dirt Devils' pitchers allowed only 4 hits across 4 games and struck out 46.
This group of girls earned this championship through pure hard work, resilience, and love for one another. They battled through three back-to-back one run games with no break to earn their trip to the finals and they left everything they had on the field to come out on top in their last game together.
60 total games across Fall 2025-Summer 2026 finishing with a record of 45-13-2.
Made the Gold Bracket in every tournament they played.

But our pride in this group is not because of the level of success they had, but in the manner in which they worked together to achieve it!!!

Dirt Devils 10U finishes the day at the top in Wise yesterday, outscoring opponents 23-0 on the day. Overall, the girls were savvy and aggressive on the basepaths. Pitchers allowed zero hits and zero runs on the day and combined for a perfect game in game one. The defense kept runners off the bases with two phenomenal pick-off plays executed by the catcher and infielders. Proud of their efforts and the way they work together on and off the field!!

What a weekend!

Like a lot of teams, the 14U Dirt Devils took to the fields this weekend as part of the Mid Atlantic Championship Tournament. They started off strong with a tie and a loss in a close game on Thursday, met some fierce competition on Friday and Saturday - facing 6 opponents who would end up in the Gold bracket, and 2 who were the finalists along with a 16 hour day at Covington that ended in a thrilling win at the end of the night, and put us in a good position in the semi finals of the silver bracket. These girls had some fire defense, great offense when needed, and spirits were high!

Unfortunately, like most teams, our weekend was cut short due to the rain that swept through this afternoon, and even though our seeding wasn't high enough to come away with hardware, they still ended up as a top 4 team in the silver bracket!

We were very sad to see the day cut short as this team was rolling off some huge momentum the night before, and we would have loved to see the grit and determination of this group of girls in that last play in game. Regardless of how the weekend ended, this team had such an awesome weekend with so many huge wins off and on the scoreboard.

This team has such a bright future ahead of them, and I'm so excited to see what it brings. Catch us back on the field in August and see what more is in store for this group. Let's go Dirt Devils! 🩵
