Class 5 State Championship Recap 💙🖤

We closed out our season at the state meet in Newport News. It was a culmination of all of our hard work and dedication throughout the year. We had a strong showing & there were many exciting performances!

Special shout-out to Sidney Walters, the Class 5 STATE CHAMPION in the 1600! This was her first state title and the perfect way to cap off her incredible high school career.

Catching up on our last few posts from outdoor track… (better late than never, right? 😂)

Back in May, we began the postseason at the 5C Regional Championship. The girls team finished in 4th place & the boys team finished in 3rd place! 🥉We enjoyed a lot of great competing, lots of PR’s, state qualifications, and heat wins! The huge highlighted for the meet were Jahleel Miller’s region title in the discus and a new school record from our Boys 4x100 relay (Holden Barber, Noah Arjona, Victor Smith, Maxtin Estey) AND Sydney Yarema in the Girls 300 Meter Hurdles!! 🎉
