✅ It’s important to understand your financial 💴 situation and get pre-approved by a lender. Knowing what you can afford will help you narrow your choices and remain within your budget.

✅ Once you have your financials 💰 in order, start searching for the perfect property. Take your time and don’t rush into any decisions. Consider your budget, area, size and style of property, and its location.

✅ If you intend to be present for the inspection, stick to observant, unobtrusive behavior. While it’s okay to ask questions or seek clarification, avoid taking control of the situation or making suggestions. Your presence should not interfere with the inspector’s job.

Homeownership Generational Trends 🏠💯

This year, first-time buyers made up 26% of all home buyers, which is a decrease from 34% last year. Young Millennials account for 70% of first-time home buyers, and Older Millennials are at 46%. Gen Xers, making up 21% of first-time buyers, form the next largest group. It’s clear that Millennials are investing in their futures by becoming homeowners. Home ownership is an important and exciting milestone and I will be happy to help them navigate the process.
