Job Well Done, Coach Reamon! 🤝🏾

Denbigh High School would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Coach Reamon for the incredible impact he’s had on our program. At the request of Denbigh alum and current Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin, you came out of retirement after a legendary 37-year Hall of Fame career to take on this challenge.

With nothing left to prove on your illustrious resume which consist of being a former NFL running back, World Football Leauge MVP, Junior College Hall of Famer, Sunkist High School All-American (not to forget a solid acting career) and receiving 2 keys to the city. You selflessly accepted the opportunity to rebuild a program that had hit rock bottom. When you arrived, the Patriots were winless, scoring only one touchdown the entire previous season. But under your leadership, in just two years, the Patriots scored 28 touchdowns, snapped a 34-game losing streak, and secured two hard-earned victories.

Beyond the scoreboard, you transformed the culture of this program. For the first time in over a decade, Denbigh celebrated five All-Region selections—a testament to your ability to inspire excellence in every player who wore the jersey.

Your mission was simple: “Change the culture.” And you accomplished that in every way.

From the entire Patriots family, thank you, Coach Reamon, for your dedication, leadership, and the lasting legacy you leave behind. Job well done!
