What a thrilling finish!

Leigh Chien did it. She is 2021 California State Girls Individual Champion!!! She shot 68 (-3) and won with a birdie on the first playoff hole!! What an accomplishment. She becomes the first ever University High School Golfer to Win CIF Individual State title!

Congratulations to University High School golfer Leigh Chien shooting -1 at Brookside Golf Club Course #1 to earn her right to be one of 9 students in whole Southern California to represent her school and SoCal at the State Championships next Tuesday at Poppy Hills, Pebble Beach!
