We are dedicated to being a part of our community and our teachers share a passion for dance and love for teaching. Situated in the heart of Orange County, The Dance Academy at Costa Mesa is convenient to Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, Santa Ana and Irvine communities. Since opening in January 2006, this Dance Academy has been offering the best dance instruction available for dancers of all ages and abilities. Owned and directed by Kate McDonald, TDA Costa Mesa specializes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Lyrical.

Meet our May Dancer of the Month, Daphne! At just 6 years old, Daphne has already been dancing for two years and loves taking our Pop Hop class. Her favorite part of dancing is the awesome feeling of getting medals at our shows! When we asked about her go-to moves, she told us she loves twirling and doing jazz walks! We love seeing Daphne’s energy in class and are so excited to celebrate her this month.
