Many times the benefits of a postpartum doula are not understood.... that is until my job is complete THEN the benefits are well known!
Let’s discuss some of the benefits!
BETTER QUALITY SLEEP 🛏 ... even when given the chance to sleep parents have a hard time resting unless they know their baby is in good hands!
SUPPORT FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY👨👩👦 ... mom, dad, partner, brother, sister, dog? The family is dynamic is changing! Mom has concerns, Dad has questions, Siblings are curious or need reassurance, dog needs a bone!
STRONGER BREASTFEEDING RELATIONSHIP🤱🏽... mom needs to know if the latch is right, is baby getting enough milk? So many unknowns! As a Certified Lactation Counselor, I’m here to answer and build that trust in yourself! Not breastfeeding? Bottle feeding 🍼 can be just a rewarding and puzzling!

SENSE OF COMMUNITY 💪🏽... unfortunately our sense of community and support has dwindled! Studies have shown just how important it is to have that community. Not only will I support you I can connect you with a community of families to find lasting support!
