Avery Parks and Recreation Our mission is to develop and sustain programs that provide positive social and physical wellbeing.

Recreation sponsored Youth Sports Fees:

Basketball - K thru 8th grades boys and girls, high school boys and - $50

Football - U-8 NFL Flag - $35; U-10 Tackle - $55; U-13 Tackle $55

Cheersport - K thru 6th grades - $65

Tommy Burleson Basketball Camp, 3rd week of July, 2nd thru 8th grades boys and girls - $50

Avery Vikings Baseball Camp, 1st full week of August, K - 8th grades, - $45

Yearly physicals are required for all sports participants third grade and beyond.

TOMORROW… A special program for kids of all ages, “Being a Good Wild Neighbor”. It will be presented by the Asheville Nature Center and is sponsored by the Avery County Public Library. It will be the first of two nature programs in the Rock Gym this month. We hope to see kids of all ages tomorrow. Share with your friends! APRD
