The countdown is on! If you've been thinking about getting your child on the ice, now is the perfect time. Join us on September 13th for the CT Chiefs Try Hockey for Free Day!

Our coaching staff will be right out on the ice to guide your child through their very first strides, teaching fundamental skills through fun, structured games. It’s an amazing, zero-pressure way to see if hockey is right for your family.

No gear? No problem! We have equipment available to borrow, and no prior experience is needed.

🏒 Start Their Hockey Journey: CT Chiefs Fall Learn to Play Program! 🏒

Is your little one ready to take their very first strides on the ice? Kick off the season with the CT Chiefs Fall Learn to Play Hockey Program at Newington Arena, starting September 13th!

Designed for kids ages 3.5 to 8, this 10-week program (1 free session + 9 instructional weeks) teaches the core skating and hockey fundamentals needed to build confidence and love for the game. Best of all, every session is led by our professional coaching staff, not volunteer parents, ensuring top-tier instruction from day one. No prior experience is required!

📍 Where: Newington Arena (300 Alumni Rd, Newington, CT)
🗓️ When: Sundays at 9:00 AM, starting September 13th (Includes Try Hockey for Free Day!)
💰 Cost: $240

🛡️ Gear: Minimum required is skates, gloves, and a helmet (full equipment recommended; packages available at the Newington Arena pro shop).

Is your young skater ready to build on their hockey foundation? The Fall session of the CT Chiefs Mite Development Program is right around the corner, starting September 13th at Newington Arena!

Designed for players ages 4 to 8 who have completed a introductory or learn-to-play session, our program focuses on core skating progression, stick skills, and small-area games. Best of all? Every session is led by our professional coaching staff, not volunteer parents, ensuring high-quality, proper instruction from day one.

Is your child ready to hit the ice and discover the excitement of hockey? Join the CT Chiefs for our upcoming Try Hockey for Free Day on Sunday, September 13th!

The Premier Hockey Group Sweat Camp is designed for players (6U–18U) looking to sharpen their skills, boost their conditioning, and step onto the ice with confidence this fall.

Camp Highlights:
✅ 30-min structured off-ice dryland conditioning (speed, core, mobility)
✅ 60-min high-tempo on-ice instruction (skating, puck control, shooting, IQ)
