A slightly overdue introduction 😅

Most of you already know (and love) Kris by now, but we figured it was still time to make it official!

We filmed this back when Kris was still our intern, sharing a little about himself and his background. Fast forward to now, and he’s officially graduated AND is a full coach 🎓👏

You can look forward to seeing Coach Kris at our afternoon classes, plus some Wednesday and Saturday mornings!

Better late than never - give Kris some love! 🙌

Training for HYROX? Train for what the race actually demands.

Build your strength. Build your endurance. Develop the capacity to keep moving when fatigue sets in.

Our Road to HYROX 8-week program combines our strength program with weekly HYROX Capacity and HYROX Performance sessions to help you prepare with purpose.

And you don’t have to do it alone. Train alongside a community working toward the same goals.

Alongside strength training, we’re adding more structure and progression to our HYROX-specific programming.

Our Wednesday and Saturday sessions will now have distinct training purposes, designed to work together throughout the 8-week block—Wednesday to build capacity and Saturday to apply what you’ve built through race-specific challenges.

In Week 1, you’ll establish your baseline and receive a tracking sheet to measure your progress throughout the program.

Don’t miss the first Wednesdays session this week! This is where your baseline starts.

Not a member? We are still running our summer promotion- all one week trials extended to two weeks. No better time to get started!

HYROX prep shouldn’t be doing random hard workouts, you need a structured training plan that prepares you for the demands of race day.

Our Road to HYROX Boston is a 8-week training program built around three key training pillars:

đŸ’Ș Strength Train – Build the foundation to move efficiently under load.

🏃 HYROX Capacity – Develop the ability to sustain your pace through structured intervals, measurable progress, and repeated transitions between cardio and strength.

🏁 HYROX Performance – Apply your training through race-specific challenge workouts that prepare you for competition.

Along the way, you’ll put your training to the test at our HYROX Simulation on Saturday, September 12, giving you the opportunity to practice race flow, refine your pacing, and build confidence before race day.

Whether you’re preparing for HYROX Boston, your first HYROX event, or simply looking for a more purposeful way to train, this program is designed to help you become a stronger, fitter, and more complete athlete.

The Road to HYROX officially starts next week.

Come in for a session and experience the Valhalla Training System for yourself.

A new training cycle starts this week, and Week 1 is all about building the foundation.

Think slower reps, pauses, and reinforcing great technique. The work you put in now sets you up to get stronger throughout the cycle.

If you’ve been waiting for the right time to start—or you’ve gotten off track and need a fresh start—this is it.

Six(ish) weeks ago, we tried something different.

In past challenges, we noticed people would start strong
but as the weeks went on, life happened. Motivation faded, accountability slipped, and it became easier to quietly fall off before the finish line.

So we changed the game.

We introduced squads, challenge points, and a brand-new portal to make accountability more personal. Smaller teams meant people were less likely to fade into the background, and a little friendly competition (because who doesn’t need that sometimes?) gave everyone something bigger than themselves to show up for.

What happened over the next six weeks exceeded every expectation we had.

The competition stayed close until the very last day.

Squads created team logos. Members cheered each other on, walked together outside the gym, encouraged eachother to stay on track on vacation, celebrated wins, and built friendships beyond class.

Together, this group lost over 50 pounds!

But honestly, that’s not what we’re most proud of.

The biggest win was watching people prove to themselves they could stay consistent.

Members surprised themselves by tracking their nutrition, prioritizing protein, drinking more water, getting more sleep, hitting their step goals, and showing up day after day.

Because getting results isn’t just about the hour you spend in the gym, it’s what you do during the other 23 hours of the day. That’s exactly what this challenge was designed to reinforce.

And then there was Coach Killian đŸ¶â€Š who celebrated wins, called people out when they needed a push, and even suggested a few members consider replacing their snoring boyfriends in the name of better sleep. 😂

A huge congratulations to our inaugural champions, The Hungry Hot Girls đŸ©·đŸ†, for taking home the team title, and to all of our individual award winners.

Without question, this was the best challenge we’ve ever run at Valhalla.

To everyone who participated: thank you for embracing something new, supporting your teammates, and proving that consistency, accountability, and community will always beat perfection.

We couldn’t be more proud of all of you. đŸ’Ș
