We have had some wonderful post-season accolades that are worthy of sharing! First of all, we were the Twin Lakes Conference Dual Champions! That means we had the best season record when playing our competitors. We have a new plaque hanging outside the competition gym💙

Next, we had all four of our seniors make the Academic All-State team! This is a huge accomplishment as to be on this team you need to maintain a 3.75 GPA or higher. To have all four seniors is amazing! Congrats Emma, Mareni, Omi, and Camryn!🎓

Yesterday started out with sunny skies, a birthday breakfast (thank you Brenda), teas from BWell (thank you Jess), some time on the range and putting green, and a ride to Dunlap. It just wasn’t our day yesterday and we ended up 4th. There were a lot of tears and hugs to have such an amazing season come to an end. But the game of golf teaches us so much; perseverance, dedication, commitment, patience, trust, and so much more. These girls played some amazing holes and rounds of golf this season and I am so very proud of the growth in each one of them. Here are their scores:

We finally had a beautiful night to golf! We got the chance to play in Manson and we played very well! It is crazy that our regular season is over and we are now preparing for our post-season tourney play. I am so proud of these girls for the amount of time and the effort they have put into golf this season!

The Twin Lakes Conference is chalk full of some talented golfers. To finish 3rd at our conference meet today is nothing to hang our heads about. Today is the reason why golf is the perfect metaphor for life; somedays it’s just not your day. Today the girls battled and still managed to finish in the top 3! Like we said in the van on the way home, we have a lot of golf to play and we are not done yet!

Today we had the opportunity to play the beautiful Hillcrest Golf and Country Club in Graettinger. It ended up being a beautiful day for golf! GTRA didn’t have a full team tonight so we won the meet while shooting a 192!

Today we had the chance to play at the Pocahontas Invite. 18 holes on a beautiful course with some good competition was a perfect way to spend our day! These girls continue to show up and GRIND! Their ability to shake off a bad shot or round shows some mental toughness that will have us ready for postseason play. Today’s weather certainly wasn’t what we were hoping for, but these girls made the best of it! They heated up on the course shooting a 200 to take the win over a very talented Alta-Aurelia team who shot a 209!
