“I’ve hunted for years, my first elk hunt was with my father at age 14. I’ve not been very successful over all those years and hunts, likely 45-50 years of hunting. I’ve hiked and hiked, I’ve sat and watched game trails, I’ve scouted and seen plenty of elk, but they were nowhere to be found during the season. I’ve just not had the best of luck and it has not been for a lack of trying.

I felt the extreme joy as well as the reverence for the bull that now hangs on my office wall. I’m very grateful for the opportunity to come to “the ranch” and get to know you all and just take in the whole experience. Our guide was awesome and I felt very well cared for. The entire time there was so well put together and we were made to feel not only welcomed, but special. You do an amazing job of providing an experience that will remain in my memories as one of the best times of my life.

Every few years we get the amazing opportunity through SHOT for HOPE to help kids with disabilities or health problems do their dream hunt. This last fall we got to help David achieve his dream of hunting a Bison. What an amazing job David! We're so grateful to be part of the Shot for Hope Family & be able to help make dreams come true for these kids!!
