Great job to Elevate Dance Academy dancers at your recital!!!! It was fun to see lots of girls I’ve coached along the way bring all their sass to their dances!!!! I love watching athletes grow in what God has called them to!!! Good job to all the dancers!

Ive debated and have gone back and forth but the safety of my athletes and their family, I think its best to close. Safety is super important to me. I know we all want to be in class working hard but safety first :) Stretch and keep working on the things I give you each week as homework. See y'all all next week :) Love, Coach Heather

One of my biggest focuses at Flips is TECHNIQUE!!!!! Technique can make or break a tumbler….. it’s much easier to learn it the right way then correct a bad technique you’re athletes done for years!!!!

Does your athlete go to a gym that focuses on the long term tumbler or just getting the next skill? Do they truly know correct technique? This is super important for the athlete that wants to progress all the way to the top!!! You may not be able to coach tumbling but you can make sure you put them where the gym knows the importance of technique!!!!

I’m so proud of this athlete - she’s worked hard to fix her “bad habit” of throwing her head and her arms being by her ears but she’s excelling and continues to work hard!!!! You can ask her how hard it is to fix a bad habit -
She now knows the importance of learning proper technique from the start!!!!!!

Determination and perseverance are 2 words that come to mind when I see this video. The mental side of this sport is sometimes harder than the actual skills and overcoming it can be challenging and today she DID! She’s been soooo close to this skill for awhile but we’ve been growing mentally and today she conquered it and I couldn’t be more proud!!! Thank you for trusting me to coach you and believing in my process to get you where you want to be! Kinley I am so proud of you!!!!! The sky is the limit kiddo - don’t ever stop working hard to get where you want to be!!!!
