As all of you know, I have spent many years working with trauma survivors. Like Charter schools, the nonprofit organizations that serve our communities need to raise additional funds to operate. Last year, Idaho and the rest of our country sat in silence and shock as we found out about the tragic murder of four college students in Moscow, Idaho.
Two of these students came from our area, Maddie Mogen and Kaylee Goncalves. A foundation (Made with Kindness) was created in their honor with a mission to "create scholarship opportunities empowering students to carry on the values of Kaylee and Maddie and offer tailored training programs that address the unique safety challenges faced by students. Our programs include workshops, seminars, and hands-on training sessions led by experienced professionals in the field of safety and security."
This case touched the hearts of our nation and with an 18-year-old daughter myself, I felt compelled to offer my services. I am honored to partner with them and share in a joint fundraiser aimed at helping support their mission. In addition, as Director of Operations at Kootenai Classical Academy, occasional fundraising events such as these help our young school with many of its operational costs. All funds will be divided evenly between KCA and the Made with Kindness Foundation.
Space is limited to the first 40 registrants!
Thank for all you do to support our school and our community. Please share this with anyone who might be interested in supporting KCA and the Made with Kindness Foundation.
The trial in this case is still ongoing so please keep their families in your thoughts and prayers.
