Rush Sturgis’ film about my brothers life, “The River Runner”, has made its way to Netflix. Add it to your list!
The Netflix film summary is a bit vague and in my opinion misses the core message of the documentary. Scott fulfilling his 20-year quest to paddle the four rivers of Mt. Kailash is the frame around the film. Although, inside the frame is the long journey of an iconic figure being humanized by sharing the realities that so many can relate to.
Rush, you did an amazing job stepping outside the box of making adrenaline pumping films laid over a trendy soundtrack. We all talk about it but you did it. Brave step my friend, and I appreciate your approach towards myself and my family while producing the piece. 👊🏼
