One of my favorite moments in coaching. Being new to the lifting scene and not being able to squat his bodyweight 1/4 of the way down without falling over in the first session as a freshman in highschool, there was no real direction or goal in mind for himself and what to expect progress wise, so i told him were going to bench 225, and squat 405 by the next calendar year. The kid just showed up and did exactly what he was suppose to EVERY single day no questions asked, not a single day he missed. Fast forward an entire year of being overlooked, shrugged off, and counted out on JV football, this dude squats 425 lbs for reps for the first time and leads the varsity O-Line. He chose the path less traveled and owned that s**t.

The amount of physical and emotional adversity it personally takes to get to where you are now after a major surgery, dealing with pain just to get in and out of the truck when you first came here and not touching a weight in years is absolutely immeasurable. Now were almost completely pain free, squatting around 500lbs, and benching 315lbs+. Keep it up big dawg, were gonna make the next year even better😎
