Good news: Baseball is back!
More good news: Our uniforms are sharp af 🔥
Bad news: We dropped the opener (in spectacular fashion)

and led us offensively. Kane recorded a couple of knocks while Soto drove in 3 runs. James Doyle and SP also contributed hits. Everyone knows the best teams are those born out of adversity. Sunday gave us 21 runs and 7 errors worth of adversity. We’ll get back on the field, break in those gloves and work on those throws. And let’s be honest, the cold wasn’t doing us any favors. Hats off to the for humbling us, we’ll see you boys in August.

Next up from our OG crew is a one of the Rays before there were any Rays. The flying squirrel-pirate himself .diamond.tech Tommy Maldarelli is at the center of the heart and soul of the dugout and what it means to be a Newburgh Devil Ray.

Tommy will be scaling his time back a bit to 'be an adult' like a normal person but you can still expect to see him putting his face on the line at the hot corner and being a deceptively good batter this season.

Miguel has been a Top 3 strikeouts leader all 3 years with the Devil Rays, and had a commanding lead out in first last year. Miguel's been putting in the work this off-season to continue his dominance on the mound and at the top of our rotation.
