HUNT TEST CANCELLED...

The Club's sincerest apologies.

We have just been informed that the NYS DEC has authorized an “antler-less” deer hunt from 9/10-9/21. This means that hunters will be allowed into Stewart State Forest to hunt deer with shotgun, muzzle and bow. They're only allowed to walk into the forest, not drive. While we do not think this would affect our hunt test, we couldn’t take the chance that either a dog or person could possibly be injured.

Based on these facts, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this years Hunt Test.

Our Apologies. See you next year. Westchester Retriever Club (Member of Master and Master Amateur National Clubs) Fall Hunt Test is Open for entries on Entry Express. Thus far, entries are low.

Master Stake is offered on Friday.

Junior Stake is on Saturday.

Senior Stake is on Sunday.

Entries close this Monday, September 6th, which is Labor Day... so don't forget to enter due to the Holiday.

The Hunt Test will be held at Stewart State Forest in Newburgh, NY.

Westchester Retriever Club AKC Hunt Test is open for entries on Entry Express.

September 12 - 13, 2020.

Offering Junior and Senior stakes only. Held at Stewart State
Forest, Newburgh, NY.

This Hunting Test is held under the Rules and Procedures of the American Kennel Club and is open to all Retriever Breeds, Irish Water Spaniels, Nova Scotia Duck Tollers, and Standard Poodles and any other breed designated as eligible to participate in Retriever Hunt Tests.
