Stainless steel band, black-backed channel with meteorite, gold foil, and fool’s gold inlay. I made this as my own personal wedding band until we could get the one that we picked out, which is very similar.

“Ok, I get the gold and meteorite, but why fool’s gold, especially in your wedding band?”

Here’s what this band means:
Meteorite because my wife came out of nowhere into my life, and she’s out of this world. The chances of us meeting were slim, but she’s a gift from Heaven itself.

Gold leaf because it’s beautiful…and incredibly brittle, but more valuable that the solid fool’s gold. My wife is anything but brittle. What I’ve learned however, is that both beauty and a relationship can be. You have to handle your partner and your relationship like a piece of beautiful gold leaf.

Fool’s gold to remind me that any fool can see beauty, and the things that glitter are more likely anything but gold on the inside. It takes real dedication, time, and persistence to find the real beauty.

I found her.

The “Princess” ring made for my daughter (because that whole “step”-daughter thing isn’t my style). Titanium band, anodized to rose gold color with an inlay channel backed by white and filled with premium grade diamond flake, with a few CZ and white Opal mixed in for variation.

I can finally share these!
Gasconade Mountain Forge Militant with Snakewood scales, brass pins, and hand-filed Ribbon pattern down the length of the spine.

This was created and gifted to the man that sold me one of my dream cars. It took 10 months, yes, 10 MONTHS to finalize the sale, but he proved to me that patience does pay off and there’s still some people out there that are true to their word.

Through our communication about updates on the progress on the sale, we struck up many off-topic conversations. I found out that knives are another passion of his and that Snakewood is his favorite exotic wood. Without revealing that I’m a knife maker, I knew what needed to happen when he handed me the keys to my new car.

This was my small token of appreciation to a new friend that provided me with so much more than a new car.

Not a blade, but I’m proud of this project. Hand engraved presentation box, recreation of Bilbo’s pipe, and Smaug tamper/scoop inspired by an original design from Naz Forge. The insert in the lid is the final lines from The Lord of the Rings, laser engraved by Laser Surge Revolution out of Doolittle, Mo.
No, I’m not a pipe smoker, but I’ve always been intrigued to attempt making a pipe.
