🥎✨ Tournament Weekend is Here! ✨🥎

The are headed back to Lake City this weekend for the USSSA Florida State Championships!

After making the jump to 12U, our girls continue to embrace every challenge, compete with heart, and grow with every inning. We are excited for another opportunity to test ourselves against strong competition and continue building toward something special.

🏆 Bracket play begins Saturday afternoon and continues through Sunday.

This is sound advice from our 3rd baseman, #55. Sometimes the best thing we can do for our girls isn’t give them another lesson, drill, or game. It’s encouraging them to dream, explore, and simply enjoy being kids.

A bucket list teaches goal setting, creativity, and making memories. Whether it’s learning a new skill, reading a book, visiting a new place, or spending time with family, having something to look forward to makes summer even better.

As coaches, we hope our spend this summer growing not only as softball players, but as young ladies. Fill your summer with adventure, laughter, and memories you’ll never forget.

🎉🥎 Happy 11th Birthday, Delaney! 🥎🎉

Today we celebrate one of the fiercest competitors you will ever meet. Delaney plays every game with incredible heart, passion, and determination. Whether she is in the circle, at the plate, or cheering on her teammates, she gives everything she has every single time she steps on the field.

What makes D special is not just her talent. It is her work ethic. No one works harder than she does. The countless hours she puts in behind the scenes are a big reason for her success, and we are so proud of the player and young lady she continues to become.

We hope your day is as amazing as you are, D. Keep chasing your dreams, competing fearlessly, and being the incredible teammate we all know and love.

Not the ending we were hoping for, as today’s tournament was cut short by the weather just before Game 3, but we couldn’t be more proud of how these girls battled.

After a tough first game, our responded exactly the way great teams do with grit, resilience, and determination. They bounced back with an 11-2 victory, showing patience at the plate, aggressive baserunning, and outstanding teamwork from top to bottom.

One thing we know about this young group is that they never quit and they’re never intimidated being the smallest ones on the field. They keep competing, keep learning, and keep growing every time they step on the field.

This is our second 12U tournament and we were once again complimented by opposing coaches and umpires. This really is the best team any coaches could ask for.

Thank you to our amazing parents for all the support, travel, and sacrifices you make for these girls. We hate that the rain ended our day early, but we’re already looking forward to getting back on the field and continuing the journey.

🥎 The game plan doesn’t magically appear on Saturday morning.

While everyone else is winding down for the night, Coach Ben and Coach Johnnie are still breaking down lineups, matchups, defensive adjustments, and game situations.

Hours of preparation. Countless conversations. More caffeine than anyone should probably admit to.

Because these girls deserve coaches who care enough to do the extra work when nobody’s watching.

🌴🥎 SUMMER SWING WEEKEND 🥎🌴

The are back in action this Saturday as we head to Magnolia Park in Moultrie, Georgia for another big weekend of competition. This group continues to embrace every challenge as we keep growing, learning, and competing.

Happy 12th Birthday to #44, Bryndle Miller 💛🥎

Bryndle brings toughness, versatility, energy, and a team first attitude every time she steps on the field. We are thankful to have her as part of the Gold Premier Carrillo family and cannot wait to see all she accomplishes this year.

Today may not have ended with wins on the scoreboard, but it showed us exactly why we are so excited about the future of this team.

Our first tournament playing up at 12U gave us every kind of challenge, and these girls battled from the first pitch to the last out. We faced three very talented teams and competed (3-4, 3-6, 4-5) in every single game. Multiple coaches we played today went out of their way to compliment our girls, talk about how young we are, and acknowledge that this group has something special. That says a lot.

There were so many positives today. Clutch defensive plays, outstanding pitching, timely hitting, toughness, energy, and fight all day long. Delaney threw a no hitter in our first 12U tournament, which is an incredible accomplishment. Naomi launched an inside the park home run, Raegan battled in the circle and at the plate, and contributions came from all over the lineup throughout the day.

Most importantly, the girls never quit. They kept competing, kept encouraging each other, and kept learning. We learned a lot today, and just like before, we will get it worked out at practice and continue growing together.

A huge thank you to our parents for everything you do for this team. The early mornings, long days, traveling, support, encouragement, and sacrifices do not go unnoticed. We are grateful for every one of you.

We are incredibly excited about this move to 12U and cannot wait to get back out there in a couple weeks and compete again. The future is bright for these .
