To my child on National Student Athlete Day:

I see the work you put in the classroom just as much as the effort you put into practice.

I see you learning the time management skills you need now to succeed in school while also pursuing the sport you love ... skills you’ll carry with you long after the game is over.

I see you advocating for yourself when things feel imbalanced, and showing up for your friends when it happens to them.

I see you doing ... a lot.

But more importantly:
I see you becoming more than you probably realize.

I see you putting yourself in a position to grow at school, at practice, at games and at home.
.. learning the satisfaction of hard work paying off.. and the strength that comes from growing through mistakes.

I see you navigating it all.
And I hope you know I'm here for you through it all.

The good the bad.
The ups the downs.
The joy and the struggle.

I've always got your back.

And just know... you're more amazing than you realize.

Keep growing, kid.

Big big thank you to 29:11 for the amazing food last night at our first home game of the season. Not only was the food delicious but it was an opportunity to raise funds to support our Lady Panthers this year and in the future! Thank you to our wonderful families and fans who purchased these fabulous meals. 💙🥎💛

The Newberry Panther softball team is excited to announce our first annual Glowflower Fun Run. This event will feature a children’s race, a teen relay and an adult race. We will have many activities like a bounce house, disco dance, corn hole, kickball, cake walk, raffle, big screen movie and FOOD! This fundraiser is to help the softball program build a locker room, bathrooms and new concession building with press box. The fun run with activities is $20 just activities is $10. Wristbands are for sale from your favorite Panther softball player, Coach Roundtree or at the concession stand during home games.
