For anyone wondering what conditions are like in the U.P. right now… we are now measuring snow depth by the sled dog instead of by the foot. And there is still a lot more storm coming! The dogs are in heaven.

How do they grow so fast? Enjoy this photo timeline of Pike’s life so far, from 1 day old to a few days ago just shy of two years old. This guy continues to amaze me with his maturity and intelligence. He is becoming a very confident lead dog and definitely taking after his dad, Elmer. ❤️
