Last week, around this time, the girls were at the field just finishing up their first game of the night! Some were sleeping on the grass waiting between games, others prank calling their coaches (🤨), and some getting even more decorated in paint for the black lights.

Summer ball was a blast with this group!

We didn’t win as many as we wanted, but the memories and character building was much more valuable.

The girls over the course of the summer learned to take the “high road” against some difficult teams, encourage each other through hard at-bats, and to cheer on teammates when things got tough.

I’m so proud of this group and all of their growth! I look forward to next summer and taking on some more tournaments and memory building.

(PSA doing an escape room with your athletes is pretty revealing of their survival skills😂)

A weekend of growth. 💙🥎

We finished 3-2, but the record only tells part of the story. Through mental adversity, tough at-bats, and some challenging moments on the field, these girls continued to compete. They chose to encourage one another, celebrate each other’s successes, and stay together as a team. Proud of the resilience, toughness, and support they showed all weekend. On to the next one! 💪
