It’s always a fun weekend for the BPH crew when we head up to Monroe for the Star Spangled Classic. Showing outdoors in the PNW feels like a treat, and this facility is a beautiful example. Thank you Washington State Paint Horse Club for a wonderfully organized, and as always, super fun show!
We left the show reflecting on how our horses and riders each covered so much ground in their own personal journeys this weekend, and each walked away with great success too! Thank you BPH team, for making this such a fun group of riders and horses. Congratulations all!

While their show started good, it also came with some natural challenges. The more you step up, the more you must get to know the intricacies of your own particular horse. Willow and Ann didn’t shy away from this challenge and became an even more in-sync pair, right before our eyes! They rounded out the show with their best rides ever, including placing 1,1,3 in Hunt Seat Equitation. Blonde beauty queen Willow also stole the spotlight, winning the overall Grand Champion Halter Mare for the show!

Denton attend his first horse show ever, and he was an absolute rock star! He rode in traffic for the first time in 3 different arenas and he made it look easy. Best part of the horse show experience for Denton? A seemingly never-ending supply of food from this great thing called a hay bag!

Avery and Miriam SHOWED UP! This pair had such a great weekend and learned so much. Going up against such talented riders and World Champions really pushed them to improve every. single. ride. Avery and Miriam are a perfect match and so fun to watch. We are particularly proud of their 2nd in 18 & Under Western Pleasure, 2nd in Novice Youth Horsemanship, and 3rd in Novice Youth Equitation. The best is yet to come!

Baby Sloane is becoming a show horse! This homegrown filly settled into the show routine so well, and took in all the new sights and sounds (scooters, bikes, racetrack noise, and planes aren't so scary). She even made her show pen debut and did great. We are so excited for her future with Jill, and cannot wait to get her in the show pen again!

Kinley and Vinnie’s compatibility shined through this weekend! This was their first true all around show competing in all the events. Seeing Kinley mature as a rider and navigate Vinnie around the pen so seamlessly made us proud! They earned circuit champion in 13 & Under Hunter Under Saddle, Reserve Circuit Champion in Novice Youth Hunter Under Saddle, Novice Youth Western Pleasure, and 13 & Under Horsemanship!
🌼 Heidi Ebner & Count On Being Fanci (Count The Minutes) | Daisy May came along for the ride! This new 3 yr old impressed us with her willingness and quiet nature. She enjoyed all the extra brushing, pampering, riding around in traffic, and getting more broke by the day! Watch for Heidi and doll face Daisy in Amateur W/T events, coming soon!
