West Michigan Guide Girl My name is Alyssa Ostrander, I'm 34, my passion is Fishing. I'm out on my own perusing my dreams of being a Female Fishing Guide. Join in on my adventures

I am currently beginning to venture off on my own into my dream of being a Fishing Guide here in Michigan. I began guiding in 2012 here on my home water the Muskegon River below Croton Dam. I would someday like to travel the world guiding but until then I spend my time here in West Michigan doing what I love. In the Winter I spend my time guiding for Winter Steelhead and healthy Trout as well as g

uide hard water (ice fishing) across West Michigan. In the Spring and Summer I chase Bass, Steelhead, and Trout. When fall rolls around it's all about Chinook Salmon here in the Mid-West and of course Trout and the occasional Steelhead as well. I guide the Muskegon, Manistee, White, and Pere Marquette Rivers and I travel all over for my Hard Water adventures. I offer Fly Fishing, Spinning Tackle, Float Fishing (Spinning & Centerpin), & Hard Water Ice Fishing.
