To truly get GOOD at BJJ one must learn all details of Position Controls & Escapes, Submission Attacks & Counters and even more Sensing and Reading of your opponents energies and actions. Then be able to respond correctly with a quality technique that works before he changes the energy. To feel what he is going to do BEFORE he does it and then respond with the proper motion or technique that fits

exactly what he is doing to lead you into a higher advantage is what Jiu-Jitsu is. As I get older, I fine I keep getting better at this. That sensitivity and tactile responses on one thing that increases with age and is easy to maintain. The feeling does not go away. For you to now get good all you have to do is spend time with me in this environment. I can take you there quicker and better than most. Opening doors for you of understanding and technique to shorten your learning process and raise your skill level in intricate technique as I increase your conditioning and fitness as well.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is so much more than the moves. There is the Structure of the moves but then the Energy within the moves how it fills them, maintains them and make them successful.

Then there are the Transitions of the Moves. These too are initiated from the Energy within them as it changes you must change into a different structure with a different Energy within it.

Reading Energy is paramount along with your Proper Reactions to it. The Level at which you Apply Energy within your Moves is what makes them Exceptional.
