Friends,
It saddens me to say that the Newark Aikido Dojo hasn’t been doing very well financially for a while now. This will result in me closing the doors at the end of the month. (…but only the doors.) I plan to continue my teaching / training at ASNJ. I have invited my students to join me training there and the management at ASNJ has been very gracious in welcoming them.
I’ve been running Newark Aikido for almost 10 years now. Seven at the Newark YMCA and we were entering our third year at this location. This situation will continue while I look for another shared space, (community center, Etc.) where the overhead won’t be such an issue.
