Our thoughts, prayers, and entire hearts are with one of our Southern Ohio Diamonds Parents/ Teams, and community Greg Burke and his beautiful family during this incredibly difficult time. As many within our community know, our dear friend Greg recently shared the heavy news of a cancer diagnosis.
Greg has always been a cornerstone of our organization, but seeing the immense strength, grace, and resilience he is already showing is a true inspiration to us all. In a moment that would break many, Greg chose absolute honesty and courage, standing completely open and "TUFF" alongside his wonderful 12 year old daughter, Bry.
The Ohio Diamonds organization is so much more than just a softball program; we are a family bound by love, and we stand closest when the road gets tough. Greg, please know that you are not walking this path alone. You have an entire army of coaches, players, parents, and lifelong friends wrapping their arms around you, ready to lift you up and back you up every single step of the way.
We are keeping Greg, Bry, and their entire family close in our prayers as they navigate these next steps with his care team at OSU. We love you, Greg, and we are with you in this fight until the very end.

🥎 FIRST FULL PRACTICE (WITH ALL THE GIRLS) IN THE BOOKS! 🥎

What a way to kick off the season! 💪🏼🔥

I couldn’t be more proud of these girls after our first practice with everyone. They came ready to work, brought great energy, and most importantly, they were coachable and willing to learn. We have a lot to improve on, but seeing the effort, focus, and competitiveness from Day 1 was awesome to watch.

The first practice is always about setting the tone, and these girls showed that they are ready to put in the work. There were plenty of laughs, a few mistakes, and a whole lot of learning — exactly what the beginning of a season should look like!

This team has a LOT of potential, and I’m excited to see where we can take it together. We’re going to work hard, hold each other accountable, have fun, and continue getting better every time we step on the field.

Day 1 ✔️
The work starts now. 🥎💙💗

Proud of you girls! Let’s keep grinding! 💪🏼🔥
