Being in situations where you’re limited to just one category of striking forces you to work on your specific strikes within it. For example, there’s many different types of kicks you can use, when limited to just kicking: low kick, body kick, switch kick. This forces us to work on things we don’t normally do, thus improving our overall well rounded game. It’s uncomfortable, but uncomfortability is the only thing that makes us better!
