Assistant JV Coach Justin Hudacko with St. Peter's Prep Players- Ty Pezzola, Nate Bryant, Dan Maher, and Alex Miller volunteering at Hockey In New Jersey with Bobby Farnham of the New Jersey Devils on Monday, February 22, 2016 at Pershing Field in Jersey City, NJ. Continuing the Prep and Jesuit way of service and giving back to those less fortunate. What a great show of character out of these young men, who are all freshman! These guys are picking up what it means to be a part of, not only the Saint Peter's Prep way, but something bigger, and way more impactful than just playing a sport. Rather they are helping to hopefully pass on and inspire love for a sport that they've grown to love over the years that provides so many benefits off-ice as well as on-ice.

Hello everyone of my Facebook friends, as most of you know, I've been helping to run a scholarship fund in memory of my friend and Prep teammate Josh Esformes, who passed away in December 2010. We've teamed up with a charity started by the New Jersey Devils called Hockey in Newark. All proceeds go to Hockey In Newark and go to a player from their program to further his or her academic path. Hey guys, St. Peter's Prep Varsity team plays at Yankees Stadium on Sunday, Feb 2nd at 10:45am vs Chatham. Our fans will be behind home plate near/in the delta club. Right now there at a limited amount of tickets ($10 per ticket) left designated for alumni, family, and students that are interested. (As of last night, there were 78 tickets left, so hop on it.) You would need to contact Head Coach Mike Goodrich ASAP in an email at:

Get the word out and maybe we could throw together a tailgate. It could be a great pre Super Bowl activity and possibly a once in a lifetime experience to see SPP play at YANKEE STADIUM!

In addition if you are driving in and not taking the subway, parking will be bought at the game for $35 or possibly cheaper or free if you get street parking. Path to subway to Stadium is about 40 minutes.

Prep Hockey Alum,
Hello. I hope you have all had a wonderful year. We are planning on having our alumni game/family skate on Dec. 22. Starting at 6:15pm. Instead of having 2 games this year we'll only have one, but we will match up the young guys Vs the young guys, older alum vs older alum.

St Peters Varsity club plays Canisius HS (Buff NY) at 4pm the same day. Come watch the varsity game and enjoy alumni activities. We are going to bump the cost to play in the game to 125$ to play , 30$ to participate in the family skate. We'll have some food, snacks, and soft drinks. Skate rentals are free.
The varsity team is in the running to play in Yankee Stadium this year, it isnt official yet but, our chances look good. We have a page set up, please go on and RSVP if you can make it. Spread the word as we'd love another great turnout.

As the high school hockey season quickly approaches, we are already beginning to plan this years Alumni game. We are looking at Dec. 22 as the date. Let's begin to spread the word and get a head count. Ideas would be helpful as well! Hope to hear/talk to everyone soon.
