𝑪𝑶𝑵𝑮𝑹𝑨𝑻𝑼𝑳𝑨𝑻𝑰𝑶𝑵𝑺 to the Scarlet Raiders for their exceptional achievements in the Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC) for the 2024 season:

🔺 Aleks Kolodziej has been named the CVC Rookie of the Year, finishing third on the team with 68 CVC kills and 13th in the conference.

🔺 Derek Au earned his place on the Second Team All-CVC leading with an impressive 275 assists—second in the CVC—and securing 17 kills against his opponents.

🔺 Lucas Blanco, also named to the Second Team All-CVC, finished seventh in the CVC with 77 kills and a .197 hit rate, making significant contributions to the Scarlet Raiders’ offense with 82.5 points and three aces.

🔺 Martin Chromulak received Third Team All-CVC honors, finishing fourth in conference play with 83 kills, a .162 hit rate, and adding 20 total blocks and five service aces on the defensive end.

𝑪𝑶𝑵𝑮𝑹𝑨𝑻𝑼𝑳𝑨𝑻𝑰𝑶𝑵𝑺 to our Scarlet Raiders for their exceptional performances this week:

ALEKS for being named NJAC Rookie of the Week. Aleks got 34 kills over three matches, including a pivotal 13 kills in the NJAC Championship win over Kean, contributing to a .296 hitting percentage. On defense, he added an 24 digs and eight blocks.👀👀👀

FERNANDO for earning NJAC Defensive Player of the Week. Fernando was a defensive powerhouse, amassing 42 digs, with an incredible match-high 18 against Kean. His efforts were instrumental in keeping rallies alive, especially in the match against Southern Virginia, where the Scarlet Raiders became the first team this season to take two sets from them.

Rutgers-Newark excelled, going 2-1 for the week and securing their 4th consecutive NJAC Championship with a 3-1 victory over Kean.

Fantastic job, gentlemen! Keep up the excellent work. 👏👏👏

Welcome to the official page of the Rutgers Newark Men's Volleyball Alumni! Here, we celebrate the legacy and accomplishments of our alumni who have contributed to the success and growth of our program.

Rutgers Newark Men's Volleyball has a rich history dating back to its Division I era, with the transition to Division III. Since then, our program has become a powerhouse in the Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC) and has produced numerous talented players who have gone on to excel in their personal and professional lives.

Our alumni have represented the Scarlet Raiders in various capacities, from team captains and MVPs to coaches and mentors. They have also achieved success on the national stage, with several players earning All-American honors and representing their countries in international competitions.

This page serves as a platform for our alumni to reconnect, reminisce, and share updates on their lives and careers. We encourage you to share your memories and experiences with the Rutgers Newark Men's Volleyball community and stay connected with old teammates and friends.
