Pike Creek Little League

Pike Creek Little League Opening Day is April 11, 2026! to merge their leagues. For the past two years we operated as a combined league known as Mid-Cap Little League. One Little League.

The Midway and Capitol Little Leagues which have operated independently since the early 1960’s received unanimous approval from Little League International Inc. On December 6, 2022, the combined Board of Directors approved a motion to rename this organization Pike Creek Little League. This vote followed the results of a poll distributed to families where a majority of families felt a new name was needed. The leading responses to that poll were Kirkwood, Pike Creek and Limestone. This merger completes a three-year initiative by both leagues that was undertaken to pool resources to better serve the families of our community. The goal of this organization is to teach the game of baseball to children ages 4 -16 in the greater Pike Creek area. Pike Creek Little League is a 100% volunteer run organization. We provide a quality, affordable baseball program for children through the sacrifice of our volunteers and the generous support of over 50 local and national businesses and organizations who donate money, materials, labor, land and more. We are always looking to support those who support us by sharing our sponsor businesses through social media posts, website logos, fundraiser events, sponsorship signs and banners and uniform logos. Play will continue at the Midway complex located behind Forest Oak School, Catalina Field located next to Green Bank Park and Pyle and Vaught Fields located behind Brandywine Springs School. We look forward to seeing everyone in the spring. Information on spring registration will follow in the next few weeks. Little League® Baseball and Softball is played in approximately 6,500 communities across more than 80 countries around the world, but regardless of where they are played, each of them share the same core mission. Little League believes in the power of youth baseball and softball to teach life lessons that build stronger individuals and communities. Joined together by one common goal, every local league is part of One Team. Sincerely,
Jack Fallon, President

As we wrap up the 2026 spring/summer season and head towards fall ball, we are looking to gain some new volunteers to join the Board of Directors for PCLL. This is your chance to get involved with the league and put your skills to use. This is a way to share your ideas and let you voice be heard.

We welcomed a record number of players and teams for 2026. We expect to exceed these number in 2027. This means there are always more volunteers needed as we have some board members whose kids are aging out and moving on.

We don't expect volunteers to have experience and know everything about how to run the league. What we are looking for is dedicated people who can bring fresh ideas and perspective. Every volunteer can make a difference.

We hope you'll consider joining us as we work toward our biggest and best year in 2027.

Anyone interested in volunteering can send an email to Mike Zielinski

Fall ball registration is now live on our website.

https://www.pc-ll.com/Default.aspx?tabid=1037472

Registration for Fall Ball is officially open until Friday, August 21! Fall Ball is our fun, developmental baseball season. It is open to all players, regardless of where you live or go to school. It’s a great chance to build skills, try a new division, and get ready for the 2027 spring season.
Key Differences from Spring
No residency or school boundaries — anyone can join!
No player evaluations or drafts — divisions are based solely on Little League Age for next year (age on August 31, 2027).
No volunteer workbond or fundraiser fee — though we always welcome extra help with coaching, managing, or field care!
Division Placement
6–7 yrs: Minor-B Coach/Machine-Pitch
8–9 yrs: Minor-A Kid Pitch
10–12 yrs: Majors
Juniors and Seniors
Tirrell Field will be undergoing a major renovation project this fall. As a result, Pike Creek Little League will not be forming its own Juniors or Seniors teams for the fall season.
Players ages 13–17 may instead register with Newark National Little League. Juniors and Seniors teams will include players from both Pike Creek and Newark National rather than separate teams for each league. Registration for these divisions must be completed through www.newarknationalll.com.

Come celebrate tonight at Jerry's Dugout with one of our delicious All Beef Natnans Hot Dogs!

What Is National Hot Dog Day and Why Is It Celebrated on July 15?

National Hot Dog Day is a food celebration dedicated to one of the most recognizable and beloved American foods: the hot dog. Observed annually on July 15, this day gives people a chance to enjoy hot dogs, learn about their history, and appreciate their role in American food culture. Hot dogs have become more than just a quick meal; they represent outdoor gatherings, sports events, summer celebrations, family barbecues, and street food traditions.Fast Food

11-12 Invitational Team

Stanton/Suburban 10, PCLL 0

As our All-Star tournament comes to an end, I just want to say how proud I am of our team. Coming up one game short of the championship game is disappointing, but it doesn’t define what this team accomplished. You competed with heart, represented Pike Creek with pride, and never stopped battling until the final out.

It was truly a pleasure coaching such an outstanding group of young men. Thank you for your hard work, commitment, coachability, and the memories we’ll all take with us. I hope each of you continues to work hard, love the game, and enjoy every opportunity baseball gives you. Wishing all of you the very best in your future, both on and off the field.

A special thank you to my fellow coaches Jesse, Shawn, and Brian. Your countless hours, dedication, and passion for these players made this go from day 1. I couldn’t have asked for a better group to coach alongside.

To our players and families, thank you for allowing my coaches and myself to coach such great young men. It was an honor to be part of this journey with you. Best of luck to all of you, and I hope our paths cross again on the baseball field!

Have a great rest of your summer everyone!

Coach John Delucia
