This past weekend the NSA Track & Field Team broke 2 school records and qualified several athletes for Nationals. This is the most medals the Knights have ever won at a single conference meet!

Boys Results:

Daviyd Dunkley won the Boys Shot Put with a throw of 49ft 5in. With this throw he breaks his own School Record and qualifies for Nationals. He also placed 4th in the Boys Discus with a throw of 113 ft

Olabade Bada placed 5th in the 400m hurdles and the 110m hurdles. He was also was part of the 4x400 team that took 3rd place

The Boys 4x400 placed 3rd with a time of 3:31.37 with a team of Brieon Simpkins, Qasim Rashid, Vincent Aseja and Olabade Bada. This time qualifies them for Nationals.

Javon Tyler placed 5th in the Boys Shot Put

Girls Results:

Rayna Jeffrey placed 3rd in the Girls Triple Jump with a jump of 33ft 6 1/2 in, with this jump she breaks her own School Record. She also placed 5th in the Girls Long Jump with a jump of 15ft 9 in. Winning a third medal of the meet came in the Girls Shot Put with a throw of 31ft 5 inches placing 6th.

Tiara Kentish placed 4th in the Girls Discus with a throw of 83ft 5 in

A strong season opener for the Knights!

Boys Results:

Daviyd Dunkley set a School Record and won the Boys Shot Put with a throw of 49ft

The Boys 4x800 set a School Record and placed 4th with a time of 8:30.98 and a team of Brieon Simpkins, Semilore Adeyemi, Mohammed Adebayo & Olabisi Sanyaolubena. They shaved off 13 seconds from the 2 weeks ago at the Summit Relays.

The Boys SMR placed 4th with a time of 3:44.33 with a team of Qasim Rashid, Vincent Aseja, Olabode Bada & Brieon Simpkins.

The Novice Boys placed 2nd in the 4x200 with a time of 1:36.98 with a team of Walliyylah Salawudeen, David Abimbola, Idrissa Jalloh and Dominic Adebayo.

Girls Results:

Rayna Jeffrey set a School Record and placed 3rd in the Girls Triple Jump with a jump of 33 ft 8.5 inches. She also placed 3rd in the Long Jump with a jump of 15ft 10 inches

The Novice Girls won the 4x200 with a team of Deborah Adabiri, Jhalia Peoples, Aniya Gervais & Nneoma Akanazu.

This past weekend the NSA Track & Field Team broke 5 school record, set several Personal Records and brought home some medals. This was a great season opener meet! ⭐️💪🏽⭐️👟

Boys Results:

The Frosh/ Soph Boys won the 4x200 with a time of 1:35.06 with a team of Walliyylah Salawudeen, Zavier Mckie, Elliott Yirenkyi and Qasim Rashid.

The Frosh / Soph Boys placed 2nd in the 4x400 with a time 3:41.62 and a team of Walliyylah Salawudeen, Zavier Mckie, Idrissa Jalloh & Yazid Ouedraogo.

The Boys 4x800 set a School Record and placed 6th with a time of 8:46.33 and a team of Brieon Simpkins, Semilore Adeyemi, Yazid Ouedraogo and Olabisi Sanyaolubena.

The Boys DMR set a School Record and placed 7th with a time of 11:41.51 and a team of Brieon Simpkins, Olabade Bada, Olabisi Sanyaolubena and Semilore Adeyemi.

The Boys Sprint Medley Relay placed 6th with a time of 1:41.47 and a team of Nasir Coleman, Elliott Yirenkyi, Qasim Rashid & Vincent Aseja

Olabade Bada set a School Record in the 400m hurdles with a time of 58.65
