I can’t believe my baby brother Ronald would have been 40 years old today. The calendar in my room is set to December 5th year round and is my daily reminder that he’s still with us in spirit. He was the smartest, sweetest, funniest person I knew and the world just isn’t the same without him in it. Missing him fiercely today and everyday. Happened heavenly birthday Ronnie! 🎉🎂💛

This morning, as I was getting in my 10K steps (I’m doing a May walking challenge with Kacey Brown and am falling in love with walking again) through Times Square, I had an epiphany: these are the good days. I took the train from Baltimore yesterday and met up with my twin sister and best friend for a girls’ trip to see Denzel on Broadway in Othello tonight. I’ve been looking forward to this trip for months, and I can’t tell you how great it feels for this weekend to finally be here.

Last night we had dinner at the and celebrated almost 25 years of friendship. Despite all of the chaos happening in the world, I’m savoring everything being in tact. While life may not be perfect, I am sooooo grateful for the joy and abundance that comes from being in alignment.

But it wasn’t always this way…There was a season in my life when chaos ran the show:

- Chaos from working at jobs that looked good on paper but slowly broke my soul
- Chaos in relationships with partners who were out of alignment
- And chaos within myself when I didn’t trust or listen to my intuition

I was exhausted, overextended, and disconnected from myself.
But the moment I stopped abandoning myself? The chaos quieted. I’m living a life I love and am grateful for every moment I’m here.

Last weekend I went to a floating sound bath with my friends and something shifted deep in my spirit.

For two hours I floated in a heated pool, wrapped in a blanket, bathed in sound bowl vibrations.
No phone. No distractions. No to-do list. Just me, my breath… and the vision that’s been trying to get my attention. And then I saw it in full 4K technicolor:
- Who am I ACTUALLY becomingife, business, and relationships powerful thing I felt was clarity.
- My future wife + babies laughing on that same beach years later
- My career + business thriving from alignment, not anxiety

It wasn’t a daydream, it was a divine download. But the most powerful thing I felt? Clarity.

Clarity about:
- The next best steps in my life, business and relationships
- Who I’m ACTUALLY becoming
- What I will no longer tolerate from the world or from myself

The first few months of 2025? Pure chaos. Political chaos. Career chaos (especially if you’re a federal employee). And mental/emotional chaos living in your nervous system…

I am so grateful for the beautiful and consistent reminders that moving to Baltimore was in divine alignment. I’m building community here in ways I haven’t since living in DC in my 20’s and it was exactly what my soul needed. Between the floating sound bath w/ (which is my new favorite soul care activity) and lunch w/ , , and , I am feeling sooo full 💛.
